We build digital solutions that withstand growth and actually work in production.

We are a small team with design and development under one roof. Fast delivery, solid code and clear frameworks, without middle management.

Silas Kaae Klaveness

Silas Kaae Klaveness

CEO

Silas is responsible for the technical direction of projects. He combines design understanding with architecture and ensures the solution both looks right and is built right under the hood.

He has led the development of two SaaS platforms from scratch. Although they didn't succeed commercially, it gave deep experience with system design, scaling, integrations and what it actually takes to build robust solutions.

Silas is calm and structured in demanding projects. Before launch he always asks one question: Can this handle 10x traffic suddenly? If the answer isn't yes, it gets rebuilt.

Ruben Fuglset

Ruben Fuglset

Co-founder

Ruben keeps direction and momentum in projects. With years of experience in customer handling and sales, he ensures the target audience and purpose behind the project don't get lost along the way.

He stays close to the client throughout the process, and ensures decisions are made on the right basis. The goal is for you to feel like part of the team – not an external orderer.

When the project starts pulling in multiple directions, Ruben is the one who tightens it back in.

Fredrik Espolin

Fredrik Espolin

Finance

Fredrik has a background from BDO Norway and contributes with structure, financial control and analytical perspective.

He ensures the right numbers are collected, that projects are measured correctly, and that decisions are made on actual data – not gut feeling.

Where others only see design and code, Fredrik sees profitability, prioritization and long-term sustainability.

Why work with us?

Small team, short lines

You work directly with those who design and develop. That means faster clarifications, less friction and better flow in the project. No middle management, just clear responsibility.

Speed without gambling on quality

We use AI to work faster where it makes sense, but we don't build solutions on hope. Architecture, code and integrations are done properly, so it withstands operations and further development.

Built for integrations and growth

Many websites stop at «looking good». We build solutions that connect with the rest of the business. CRM, booking, internal systems and data flow are planned early, so it doesn't become patchwork later.

Design that removes friction

We don't design to impress. We design to make it easy to understand, easy to choose, and easy to get in touch. Good UX is about clear choices, the right information and a flow that actually converts.

Our history

OceanEdge started two years ago, but our background goes further back.

Silas started programming already in high school. It began with small projects and development for his own learning, before the first real assignment came: a website for a local hairdresser who had no digital presence.

In parallel, we tried to build our own restaurant ordering system from scratch. It was never sold. It taught us something important: It's not enough to build first and hope the market follows. Value is created in the understanding before the code is written.

Later we developed two SaaS projects with BankID signing, payment solutions, real-time functionality and AI integrations. Not everything succeeded commercially, but the experience of building complex systems from the ground up has shaped how we work today.

We don't build to show what we can do. We build so the solution works for those who will actually use it.

Where we are now

Today we work with companies that need more than a standard website. Projects with many properties, large amounts of data, API integrations and performance requirements.

We plan architecture before design. We optimize before we decorate.

Where we're heading

In the coming years we will integrate AI even more strongly into our deliveries, while continuing to build on our technical foundation.

The goal is simple: deliver faster than traditional agencies, without sacrificing structure or quality.

What matters to us

Clear frameworks

We work with one decision maker. The goals must be clear before we start.

Projects with 17 opinions and unclear directions rarely turn out well. We lock goals and responsibility early, so we can deliver quickly and precisely.

User before feature

It doesn't help to build advanced technology if the user doesn't understand it.

We design and structure through the eyes of those who will actually use the solution. Features are added where they add value, not because they're technically possible.

Speed with control

We use AI as an internal engine to work faster. Code design, testing, documentation and structure are supported by our own AI workflows that we have developed over time.

But speed doesn't mean sloppiness.

Everything we deliver is functionally tested. We go through scenarios before launch. We optimize performance and ensure the architecture withstands growth.

Quality that withstands handover

Code should be clear. Integrations should be documented. The solution should be able to be taken over by others if necessary.

We don't build something only we understand.
